About the artist

The artist is Japanese, was raised in Japan and several other European countries. She finished her foundation degree in Central Saint Martins and is received her Bachelors in Fine Art, at the Slade School of Fine Art. Now pursuing a Masters degree in Computer Science, she is keen to understand the necessity, vastness and influence of Technology. The diveristy of interest in her subjects is a result of her also diverse background. She is an eccletic a collector, a story teller, an enchanter and a necromancer. Okuno intends to incorporate her unique cultural background to her works, approach technology with admiration, and loom around folk lore and dark fantasy. She resides in London, UK.
